Who is Verias Smith?
Verias is a Boston indie alum who has collaborated with the leading artists of the Boston, New York and Nashville music scenes. You may have caught him performing in one of the great Boston venues such as The Paradise Rock Club, T.T. & the Bear's, Johnny D's, The Middle East, among others. After years away he has now returned to music as part of the new Heartcore movement, rejecting today's over reliance on digital effects like autotune and quantization to get back to REAL HUMAN PERFORMANCES.

Taking the long way home,
Verias Smith's deep fascination with Irish traditional music led him to Ireland, where he lived, immersed in the Irish art culture for years. Living and performing between Cork and Dublin, he had the privilege of studying under esteemed Irish Composer, Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin. Smith’s years in Europe included working his way from Dublin to Regensburg as a busker, refining his craft.
After returning from Europe he fell into advertising and found himself in a fascinating career of starting and growing companies. But after years in the start up world he realized that his health and happiness was suffering and that he had walked away from his true purpose; to write music. So he made the shift and entirely hard reset his life to live grounded in music.
Verias is an animal champion, and an avid equestrian. He lives with his wonderful family, 3 dogs, 3 cats, about 20 horses, a loud mess of chickens and the world’s laziest rabbit.
